Welcome to to my rebranding project for Philabundance, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger in the Philadelphia area. I was tasked with creating a new visual identity for Philabundance that will better communicate its mission and values to the community it serves.

My goal with this rebrand was to create a more modern and dynamic visual identity that will capture the spirit of Philabundance's mission and inspire support for its cause. By refreshing the organization's brand elements such as its logo, color palette, typography, and messaging, I aimed to give Philabundance a new and distinctive look that will help it stand out in a crowded field of charitable organizations. I believed that by doing this, I could inspire more people in my city to get involved.

First, I began by redesigning the logo. When creating the new logo for Philabundance, I had two things in mind. Firstly, I wanted to highlight their mission of fighting hunger, so I replaced three buildings in the Philly skyline with cutlery. Secondly, I wanted to give their old logo a fresh look, so I made a simple, modern design that would appeal to younger people who want to volunteer. And to top it off, I used a bolder font for the word "Philabundance" so that it stands out more and is easy to remember.

Second, I choose and new color palette and typography for the brand. I went with a blue to represent trust, reliability, and stability. I believed that it would reference the organization's commitment to providing consistent and dependable food assistance to those in need. Blue also represents calmness, which could symbolize the comfort that Philabundance provides during difficult times. To add a pop of color, I threw in a bold red. Philadelphia is a very important city in terms of America history, so it only made sense to have red, white and blue. In addition to this, I choose Futura PT to represent the modern, sleek feeling I wanted to bring to this rebrand.
