WARRIORS ON BOARD

Veterans put their stories on paper. I helped carry them onto skateboards—and into a digital experience built around the people behind the artwork.

THE BRIEF

THE BRIEF

Warriors on Board connected veterans and Gen Z through art and skateboarding. Each deck began with a veteran’s own story, expressed in their own visual language. My role was to digitize their artwork for print and design the microsite where people could explore the boards and meet their creators.

FROM SKETCH TO DECK

FROM SKETCH TO DECK

Each board started with a veteran’s sketch. I translated that artwork into a print-ready design, preserving its character as it moved from paper to a physical deck. The veterans were the artists. My job was to carry their vision through production with the care it deserved.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE BOARDS

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE BOARDS

The board was the invitation. The artist’s story was the reason to stay. I designed a microsite that brought the finished decks and the veterans’ statements together. Visitors could explore the collection, meet its creators, and enter the giveaway—moving from the artwork to the person behind it.

ART THAT LEFT THE PAGE

ART THAT LEFT THE PAGE

The campaign included a giveaway of 1,000 skateboards, taking the veterans’ artwork beyond the screen. I helped bring the project into two tangible forms: designs ready for print and a website where each board had a story and a name behind it.
